About Me
Traveller, adrenaline addict, adventurer & food lover.

Kristijan Ilicic
I was born in Zagreb, Croatia on October 6th, 1986. I have studied at the University of Applied Sciences where i have earned a Master’s Degree in Computer Engineering. From the early age i was very interested in computers and at the age of sixteen i have launched a website which soon became one of the top 5 most visited sites in Croatia. Only four years later i have sold my website to one of the leading publishing company in Croatia, Adria Media Zagreb where i have continued working after the sale as a Director of Digital Development & IT. I was responsible for the complete digital strategy of the company. Those achievements ensured me a bright future enabling to chase my dreams regarding traveling. Since then i have has visited more than 75 countries all over the world with an emphasis on the less developed countries which have kept its authenticity and were less touristic. One of my favorite destinations is for sure Ethiopia where i have spent more than 2 months traveling, followed by Cambodia, Laos, Vietnam, Indonesia, Philippines and Thailand in a time when they had not been as well known and visited as today. I am by nature a very curious person resulting in exploring the unexplored and in traveling as a traveler and never as a tourist. My most important goal is to live as the locals do in the particular country which most of the time means eating only the street food and local specialties and sleeping in very cheap accommodations.
